大亚湾反应堆中微子实验的快中子本底研究 被引量:1

摘要 在大亚湾反应堆中微子实验反电子中微子信号残留快中子本底估算的研究中,可以通过对仅经过内水池探测系统的μ子致散裂快中子的分析,实现对快中子快信号能谱的测定.给出快中子的快信号各类本底信噪比和能谱,进而确定可以用线性外推法对反电子中微子信号中的残留快中子本底数目进行估算. In the estimation of fast neutron background in electron antineutrino candidates in Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment, the signal to noise ratio of all kinds of backgrounds and the energy distribution of the prompt signal of fast neutrons can be obtained from the analysis of fast neutrons generated by muon induced spallation that occurs in the inner water pool detector system. It is shown that a linear extrapolation method can be chosen to estimate the number of fast neutron signals in final electron antineutrino signals.
