摘要
一代大儒王阳明堪称儒家人格的典范,他一生立德、立言、立功,对于人才的价值也有其深刻的认识。他从以德为先、智德双修的人才价值取向出发,打破选人惯例,"舍短取长"、"因时制宜",不拘一格选人,并以"公论"荐举的形式保证了选拔程序的公正性;他辩证性地消极否定了道德教育万能论,通过"久任其职"、"量行加增"等实用主义措施以促官员责任心、廉洁等德性养成。相比其他政治家、思想家而言,他的人才观及其措施更有独特的价值意义。
Ancient Chinese Confucian Wang Yangming can be labeled as the model of Confucian personality. His whole life is featured by great virtue, intelligent style of conversation and outstanding merits, which provided a pro- found understanding of the value of great talents. His talent value orientation fn'stly focused on great virtue and re- markable wisdom, which broke away from the stereotyped routine in talent-selecting. Neglecting the weak points of the talents and exploiting their strong points; choosing talents according to the specific requirements of special occa- sions, he never confined himself to any old rules in selecting talents. He tried to guarantee the impartiality of the se- lecting procedure by the form of recommendation from public comments; and he also denied the theory of moral edu- cation and asserted that some utilitarian measures be taken to promote the rearing of the officials' responsibility and honesty. Compared with other politicians and thinkers, his outlook and his measures on the value of talents enjoy distinctive value.
