The Ancient Words on Moon in Languages in Eastern Asia

摘要东亚太平洋诸语言"月亮"的说法有南、北方词源的交叉对应,诸语有"月亮"的通称、"新月"和"满月"等的区分,"满月"的说法和"月亮"的通称与"圆的"有词源关系。东亚太平洋和美洲印第安语都有把"月亮"叫做"夜里的太阳",东亚太平洋的一些语言用"夜"代指"月亮"。 The origin words on the moon in languages in the eastern Asia and Pacific islands are correspondent between northern and southern languages. There exist common expressions on the moon and those on new and full moon in different languages. The main common expressions were from their original words round. It is very interesting that the moon is called ＂the sun at night＂ in languages in the eastern Asia, Pacific islands and American continents, or using words night instead of the word moon.
