摘要
中国文化发展历程的分期问题,不仅仅是外在具体历史时段的划分,更意味着对文化特质及其变迁内在规律的认识。学者们由于不同的文化观、不同的考察视角,其历史时段的划分也相去甚远。根据本尼迪克特的文化模式理论,我们中国文化概论精品课程的教学设计,是以内在文化精神的蜕变为枢纽,把整个中国文化发展史划分为萌发时期、轴心时期、帝国时期、转型时期四大历史时段。这也显示中国文化概论课程与一般中国历史课程的基本区别。
Dividing the history of Chinese cultural development into different stages is not only the division of external specific historical stages,but reflects our understanding of cultural traits and its internal laws in changes. Scholars differ much in their dividing the historical stages because of their different points of viewin culture and different angles of exploration. Based on Benedict's theory of cultural mode,we have designed the teaching of the course An Introduction to Chinese Culture as follows: the history of Chinese cultural development is divided into such four historical stages as the stage of sprouting,the stage of axis,the stage of empire,and the stage of transformation. Such division also indicates this course's essential difference from the general course of Chinese history.
