In 2006, a small-mouthed bronze ding was unearthed from Tomb No. 11 at Xujialing in Xiehuan, Henan. Its shoulders bear a 49-character inscription, which uses the Star God Taisui year-numbering way, and mentions that the ding is made and owned by a member of the Wei (化阝) Clan. Both the contents of the inscription and the form of the vessel have great academic value.
