摘要
汉画像石门扉作为汉画像石的主要组成部分,在中国美术史上占有重要地位。许昌是东汉末年帝都,出土了大量的汉画像石,画像石门扉占总量的三分之二,其题材内容为社会生活与神灵辟邪两大类,地域风格浓郁,是研究汉代地域文化最直观的实物例证,也是研究汉魏之际社会生活、人文风貌、文化艺术等最形象化的图像资料。
As the main part of the Han Period pictorial stones, the door-leal picture ot those times held an important posmon m the history of Chinese art. Xuchang was the imperial capital in the late Eastern Han Dynasty; it yielded a great number of Han pictorial stones, of which the door-leaf pictures account for two thirds of the total. Their subjects fall into two types : one presents social life while the other depicts gods and evil-exorcising spirits, and both show strong regional style. These cultural relies constitute the most audio-visual material in studies of Hart Period regional culture, as well as the most figurative data for researching into the social life, human aspects and features, culture and art in Han and Wei times.
