Objective To study the changes of the organic coefficient of the spleen and thymus in the wind cold superficies syn- drome model mice. Methods 200 rats in each group and half male and half female were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. The control animals were fed at room temperature 18 -21℃. The experimental animals were fed under natural light with temperature 2 -5℃, humidity 60% and wind 4 -5 grades. The control group and experimental group were weighed and then killed on the day7 ,daylO and day14 ,their spleen and thymus were taken and weighed to calculate organic coefficient. Results The weights of body, spleen and thymus of control group had a gradual increase with days accumulated. The organic coefficients of spleen rose and of thymus were relatively constant. The wind cold superficies syndromes have been widespread in the experimental group. The body weights of mice were decreased when the wind cold superficies syndrome model was success and then increased. The weights of spleen were decreased, but organic coefficients of spleen hadn't a significant change, and their coefficients were higher than that of the control group. The weights of thymus were relatively constant, but organic coefficients of thymus had a significant decline. Conclusion The body weights of the wind cold superficies syndrome model mice had a significant change. The organic coefficients of spleen and thymus were affected by the weight of body and by compensatory increase of spleen and thymus.
