摘要
近年来各种Web3D应用层出不穷,相应的虚拟数据规模也急剧增加,势必使得互联网的传输负担日益沉重。将虚拟场景管理技术与3D模型轻量化技术有机结合,提出了面向Web3D数据约简的基于八叉树的轻量级场景结构,最大程度地降低3D场景的数据量,从而也减少用户在网上等待3D模型下载的时间。通过对3D场景进行分离和层次划分,对模型单元进行匹配剔除,对八叉树进行结构变换,最终建立从上至下的轻量级场景结构。实验显示,同传统场景结构相比,所提出的场景结构规模更小,并且采用该方法对场景进行管理,可以明显地减小场景数据规模,有利于传输。
Recently, a variety of VR applications on web are emerging extremely, and the corresponding virtual data size is increasing dramatically, making the pressure of Internet transmission increasingly heavy. By combining the virtual scene management with 3D lightweight technologies, a new octree-based lightweight scene structure oriented to data reduction was proposed, which minimized the data scale, thus reducing the user's time of downloading 3D models. By means of separating and hierarchically dividing 3D scene, matching and removing model units, as well as transforming the structure, a top-down lightweight scene structure was ultimately established. The approach has a smaller data scale and shows good performance on scale reduction and data transmission compared with the traditional scene graph.
