From National Strategy to People's Livelihood:Reflections on People's Livelihood of Education in China

教育既是国家大计,也是重要的民生。教育民生可分为基本教育民生、一般教育民生和准教育民生。不同教育民生改善的目标、重点和措施也不尽一致。教育投入和教育公平是我国教育民生改善的重要因素。管理民主化既是教育民生改善的内容也是其重要保证。

Education is not only a national strategy, but also an important people＇s livelihood. The people＇s livelihood of education can be divided into the basic livelihood, the general livelihood and the quasi livelihood. The three kinds of people＇s livelihood of education are different in the objective, focus and measure of improvement. Both the investment in education and education fairness are important factors in improving the people＇s livelihood of education in China. The democratization of educational management is not only a goal of improving the people＇s livelihood of education but also helps ensure the improvement.
