Sino-US Cooperation Under the New Trade System:A Perspective of China-US S&ED

当前,新型贸易体系正在形成。中国与美国在新型贸易体系里扮演着重要的角色。此次中美战略与经济对话的成果为中美两国在新型贸易体系下的合作传达了积极信号,两国在贸易—投资—服务三个新型贸易体系的关键领域都取得了重要共识。作为全球最有影响力的发达国家和发展中国家,中美两国应积极探索在新型贸易规则领域的利益共同点,并形成良性合作方式,更好地促进新型贸易体系下的双边和多边合作。

China and the United States play important roles in the newly shaped trade system.The results achieved at the China-US Strategic & Economic Dialogue have sent positive signals regarding bilateral cooperation under the new trade system.They have reached consensus in some key fields in the regime of trade,investment and services.As the most influential developing and developed countries,China and US should actively pursue common grounds in setting of new trade rules and promote bilateral cooperation to lay groundwork for future bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the new trade system.
