On China's Communicative Work to Britain in the Early of New China——Take Sino-British Reception on National Day for Example

交际工作是外交工作的重要组成部分之一。新中国成立初期,中国政府利用举办和出席中英两国国庆招待会的契机,在坚持原则的前提下,将斗争与合作进行有效地统一,积极发挥交际工作的作用和特点,妥善处理了中英关系,扩大了对外交往平台,既丰富了对外交际的经验,又推动了中英关系向前发展。

Communicative work is an important part of diplomatic work.In the early of New China,the Chinese government used the opportunities of organizing and attending Sino-British reception on National Day,effectively united the struggle and cooperation under the premise of upholding the principles,actively played the role and characteristics of communicative work,properly handled Sino-British relations and expanded contact platform,all of which not only enriched the experience of foreign communication,but also promoted the forward development of Sino-British relations.
