A new vinyl ester resin glass flake coatings is used for the protection of cathode aluminium in electrolysis workshop. The application process is introduced and field test is in Baiyin North-west Lead and Zinc Metallurgical Plant. Test results indicate the coatings effectively protect cathode aluminum.
