Public occupations, professions and social construction

转型社会的迫切问题和需要是建立适应社会分化现实的新的有效社会整合机制,这也应当是社会建设的核心任务所在。社会福利建设是其中一个重要的方面。但需特别重视公共职业和相关专业的建设,并发挥其对于现代社会整合的某种关键性作用。在中国国情和西方历史经验下,以公共职业建设作为当前社会建设的突破口是最佳现实选择,同时应当特别加强社会工作等社会服务专业的建设。

In transitional societies,it’s a pressing demand to build new effective mechanisms of social integration which are suited to the social reality with differentiation.This is also the key task of social construction.Social welfare development is an important aspect of it.Rather,more attention should be paid to the construction of public occupations and professions whose pivotal roles should be played for modern social integration.Taking China’s situation and western experience in account,it is the best practical choice to break the prospects of social construction in China through the construction of public occupations,in which the construction of social service professions such as social work should be reinforced.
