植被建设在黄土高原生态环境建设中的地位和作用

The position and role of vegetation construction in ecological environment construction in Loess Plateau

分析了黄土高原的植被状况 ,阐述了植被对改善生态环境的作用 :保持水土 ,涵养水源 ,减少地表径流 ;调节气候 ,减轻自然灾害 ;改良土壤 ,提高土壤肥力。最后针对长期以来黄土高原植被建设中存在的主要问题 ,提出了用先进的造林技术 ,林草并重、草业先行 ,加强预防监督工作 ,加大投资力度等措施加快植被建设的几点看法和建议。

Soil and water losses were slight because of more vegetation cover in the loess plateau at ancient times.However,soil and water loss is serious because of less vegetation now.Vegetation has a role of improving ecological environment: soil and water conservation,self-restraint waterhead,decreasing surface runoff,regulating climate,lightening natural calamity,improving soil and raising soil fertility.Now,vegetation construction is implementing in the west.For this reason,based on existing main problems for a long period of time in vegetation construction in Loess Plateau suggestions are put forward.While equal stress is given to both forest and grass,grass takes the lead.The strong effort should be put on prevention and supervision.The investment should be increased.
