This paper introduces the field investigation of several top ranking social scientific research centers in the United States. The framework of organization and administration of these social scientific re- search centers, operating models, data sharing platform, online data analysis system, long-term data storage and curation, data-processing norm are emphasis of the investigation. In the end, the paper discusses the inspiration for Chinese social scientific data development and management.
