Analysis on the Platform Construction of the National Library of China for Serving the Vulnerable Groups

为弱势群体服务是中国国家图书馆提高服务质量的一个重要标志,也是区别于其他高校图书馆和地方图书馆的重要标志之一。作为国家级的图书馆,让每个人都享受到阅读的权利,是其确立国际地位的重要一步。探讨了图书馆对弱势群体服务的意义,阐述了国外图书馆为弱势群体服务的现状,基于中国国家图书馆为弱势群体服务的现状及存在的问题,提出了一些具体措施。

Serving the vulnerable groups is an important symbol for the National Library of China to improve the service quality, and also is one of the important marks of being different from university libraries and local libraries. Being as an national library, making all people enjoy the reading right is an important step for it to estabhsh its international position. This paper discusses the significance of library＇ s serving the vulnerable groups, expounds the present situation of some foreign libraries＇ serving the vulnerable groups, and based on the status quo of and existing problems in the service for the vulnerable groups in the National Library of China, puts forward some improvement measures.
