阐述了高校图书馆外文期刊资源建设中存在的问题,分析了现代信息技术下外文期刊资源的特点,探讨了现代信息技术对高校图书馆外文期刊资源建设的影响,指出在现代信息技术条件下,高校图书馆应该转变外文期刊馆藏理念,以学科建设为基础,提高外文期刊的馆藏水平,优化外文期刊的馆藏结构,积极开发和利用免费网络信息资源,加强高校图书馆间的合作和资源共享,不断提高外文文献信息的保障能力。

This paper expounds some problems existing in the construction of foreign periodical resources in university library, analyzes the characteristics of foreign periodical resources under modern information technology conditions, and probes into the influence of modern information technology on the construction of foreign periodicals resource in university library, and points out that under the modern information technology conditions, university library should change the concept of the collection of foreign periodical resources, improve the foreign periodical resources collection level and optimize the collection structure on the basis of discipline construction, develop and utilize actively the free network information resources, and strengthen the cooperation and resources sharing among university libraries, and constantly improve the guarantee ability of foreign literature information.
