Taking the Beijing Xiaohongmen Wastewater Treatment Plant and Xi＇ an Fifth Wastewater Treatment Plant as example, this paper described the key points of the process selec- tion and design of the sludge anaerobic digestion in the wastewater treatment plant, including sludge anaerobic digestion process selection, sludge pre-treatment, anaerobic digestion tank, meth- ane system, up-level clean liquid treatment, and sludge transmission pipe, and so on,which could ensure the smooth implementation of the sludge anaerobic digestion inwastewater treatment plant.
