明代唐藩仪正成氏家族墓志考略

On the Epitaph of Cheng Family of Ming Dynasty

明代唐藩仪正成氏家族墓志记述了成氏先祖成刚于明初多次随太祖朱元璋征战,以功授豹韬卫正千户,其子成贵于正统十一年(1446年)改授唐藩仪正,遂家于南阳,其后世子孙亦承荫世袭仪正之职等史实。关于成氏家族成员,文献乏载,新发现的唐藩仪正成氏家族墓志可补史志所缺。

The epitaph of the Cheng family, who served as the Yizheng （仪正） of the vassal state Tang of Ming Dynasty, records the history about their ancestors. Their early ancestor Cheng Gang served in the army and fought for the first emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, and was granted the title of Baotaowei Zhengqianhu （ 豹韬卫正千户 ） for his contributions in the early years of Ming. Cheng Gui, the son of Cheng Gang, after regranted as as the Yizheng （仪正） of the vassal state Tang in the 1 lth year of Zhengtong （1446 AD）, moved to Nanyang and settled his family down there. The descendants of Cheng Gui then inherited the title of Yizheng （仪正） in the following generations. The literature about the members of the Cheng family is scarce, which can be complimented by the new-found records on the epitaph.
