Investigation on the Need of Contraceptive Services Among Non-medical College Students

目的了解河南省高校非医学专业学生的避孕服务状况,针对存在的问题进行分析,提出对策和建议。方法运用多阶段整群抽样方法在河南省3所高校进行抽样,采用自制调查表对研究对象进行面对面访谈,内容包括:基本信息、性行为、避孕知识获取渠道、对生殖健康与避孕教育的态度等。结果获得生殖健康知识来源于媒体的女生(44.36%)高于男生(34.70%),差异有统计学意义(χ2=18.917,P=0.001),不同学历学生希望采取的教育形式比例接近,经χ2检验,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。高校学生在发生意外妊娠时最需要的服务中,男女之间差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论高校非医学专业学生接受正规避孕服务和教育是必要的。

Objective To investigate the attitudes towards contraceptive services among the non - medical college students and to analyze the existing problems and put forward countermeasures and suggestions, so as to provide a scientific basis for cont- raceptive services and reproductive health education in the college. Methods Three non - medical colleges in Henan province were selected by multistage cluster sampling. Face- to- face questionnaire surcey was carried out to collect the data of the re- search objects, including their basic information, sexual behavior, conceptive knowledge gaining ways and attitudes towards edu- cation about reproductive health or contraception. Results The proportions of the students who gained the reproductive health knowledge through media differed significantly between females （44.36 % ） and males （34.70 %, x2 = 18. 917, P = 0. 001 ）. The distributions of the students with different education degrees in the various wanted ways to gain the education were not significantly different （P 〉 0.05）. Female students differed from males in the most - wanted services in the event of unin- tended pregnancy （P 〈 0.05）. Conclusions It is necessary for non- medical college students to accept contraceptive service and education.
