摘要
伴随新课改深入实施,我国中学英语教学越来越强调培养学生综合语言运用能力和跨文化交际能力,这使得英语教科书文化功能日益凸显。人教社在不同时期出版的初中英语教科书在中西文化、城乡文化和民族文化等方面不断寻求突破和平衡以满足不同群体文化需要,力求完善英语教科书中不同文化内容配置结构,促进英语教学文化性和实用性。
With further implementation of new curriculum reform, English teaching pays more attention to students'language comprehensive competence in using English and intercultural communication, which high- lights cultural functions of textbooks. English textbooks in junior middle school of different PEP edition is con- sistently seeking breakthrough among China -western, urban- suburb and inter- nationality culture to satisfy cultural needs of different groups and make perfection of culture content structure, and to improve the cultural and practical functions of English teaching.
