The change of foreign fibre quantity and status during cotton textile process were analyzed, and main methods of foreign eliminalion were introduced, Detection method, amount token and elimination percentage calculation formula fo foreign fibre in raw cotton,sliver,yarn and fabric were proposed systematically,hoping that the proposed detection method and amount token index could provied reference in textile standardizing of foreign fiber.
