Thyroid hormones and heart failure

甲状腺激素与心脏收缩和舒张功能关系密切。正常水平的甲状腺激素有利于维持心脏的结构和功能,减轻心脏重构。心力衰竭患者甲状腺激素水平轻微改变时可使心功能更恶化、预后更差。给予甲状腺功能不全的心力衰竭患者适当的甲状腺激素治疗有助于维持心脏的结构和功能、改善临床症状和预后。

Thyroid hormones are closely related to cardiac contractile and relaxation function. The normal levels of thyroid hormones are helpful for preserving cardiac structure and function and decreasing cardiacremodeling. The mildly altered thyroid hormones in heart failure patients may decrease cardiac function, and worsen prognosis. The suitable thyroid therapy for heart failure patients with hypothyroidism may be helpful for maintaining cardiac structure and function, and improving clinical cardiac function and prognosis.
