To carry out Yangtze riverine development is a major decision made by Jiangsu provincial Party com- mittee and the provincial government. This paper reviewed the major achievements in Nantong Yangtze riverine development that have been made in the past ten years ,analyzed the main existing problems and put forward countermeasures and suggestions on further deepening the Yangtze riverine development of the City of Nantong.
