The concept of Mou Zongsan＇a thought of Self-negation has four sigaificances which in epistemology, theory of temperament, ontology and historical-cultural philosophy, the connotation of the four levels are connected to each other and they are in accordance with the progressive, they show different qualities according to it＇s ceaseless development of the consciousness on philosophical problems and it＇s changing discourse context.
