摘要
造物的工程——"自然工程"具有自然与社会的双重属性,内蕴看科学、技术的逻辑和社会、人文的价值,呈现出集成性特征,进而成为科学、技术与社会关系表达的载体和现实样态,是具象化了的STS。这主要是由工程自身的特性,科学、技术与工程之间的相互关系,特别是三者在当代的互动和一体化,以及工程的社会实现和工程安全总是关涉科学认知、技术选择与社会因素等决定的。因此,对工程的追问离不开科学、技术与社会(STS)的视城;对STS的考察也需要工程思维和工程课题。
Natural Engineering for changing nature has natural and social dual attributes. Engineering possesses character of integration, because it includes scientific and technological logic as well as social and humanistic value. Nowadays, engineering becomes a carrier or actual modality of the express of relationship between science, technology and society, and it is embodied STS. This view can be interpreted by engineering characteristics in itself, the mutual relation between science, technology and engineering, especially their contemporary interaction and integrative trend, and social re- alization of engineering and engineering safety decided by scientific cognition, technological selection and social factors. Therefore, the social question of engineering needs the perspective of STS, and the inquiry of STS has to require engineering thinking and engineering project.
