摘要
大学评鉴是用来衡量大学绩效考核或协助进行教学质量改善的一种普遍方式。通识教育评鉴是对通识教育的理念、目标、价值和功能以及实施成效进行判断评定的过程。近年来,中国台湾地区高等院校通识教育因评鉴工作的推进及评鉴机制的完善而进入纵深发展阶段。本文通过对台湾高校通识教育评鉴的缘起、目标、原则并结合台南大学通识教育评鉴实务的分析,探讨了台湾新一轮评鉴工作在评鉴目标、评鉴项目、评鉴机构、评鉴实施等方面的有益经验和鲜明特色,以期为大陆高校推动通识教育的制度化、纵深化、实效性改革提供借鉴。
University evaluation is the most common way to assess university performance and assist to improve the quali- ty of teaching. Evaluations of general education is the process in which general education concept, goal, value and function and implementation effectiveness are judged. In recent years, the evaluation of general education in Taiwan universities and colleges achieve deepening development due to the promoted evaluation operation and improved evaluation mechanism. Through the analysis of origin, objectives, principles of the general education in Taiwan and of the general education evaluation prac- tice in Tainan university, the paper discusses their own characteristics and experience of the evaluation goal, project, mecha- nism and implementation in the hope of promoting standardization and deepening reform of general education in universities in China's Mainland.
