We studied antibacterial effects of Tilia amurensis Rupr. inflorescence extracts on three Gram-negatives, two Gram- positives and one Fungus to provide theoretical basis for comprehensive exploitation and utilization of T. amurensis Rupr. resources. We measured MIC (minimum inhibitory concentration ) and MBC (minimum bactericidal concentration ) of each extract by using broth dilution method. The ethyl acetate extracts of T. amurensis Rupr. have significant antibacterial activity on Staphylococcus epidermidis, S. aureus, Staphylococcus citreus, Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris and Candida albicans and its antibacterial effect is better than that of streptomycin.
