农村居民跨越偶现式数字鸿沟过程中社会资本的价值——天津静海田野调查报告

Value of Social Capital on Bridging Accidental Digital Divide among Rural Residents:A Field Report from Jinghai County,Tianjin

本文以天津市静海县惠丰西村和土河村两村的居民为调查对象,通过田野调查和深度访谈,研究当地居民在获取和使用数字化工具过程中如何跨越"偶现式数字鸿沟",尤其是社会资本在其中所起的作用。研究发现:农村老年人更加依赖内部社会资本来实现数字化脱贫;中年人会综合利用内部和外部社会资本,但倾向于利用外部社会资本;青少年则一般利用朋友或售后服务等外部社会资本来解决其所面临的困难。

The paper reports research findings from a study on how rural residents in Huifeng West Village and Tuhe Vil- lage of Jinghai County, Tianjin bridge ＂accidental digital divide＂ in having access to and using digital tools by employing field observation and in-depth interviews, especially on the role of social capital in this process. The findings are as follows： seniors tend to rely on bonding social capital to realize digital anti-poverty; the middie-aged make comprehensive use of bridging and bonding social capital and prefer bridging one; children and young adults generally ask for help from friends, or after-sales serv- ices in their bridging social capital to address the difficulties they are faced with. 1 fig. 2 tabs. 43 refs.
