Remarks on the Studies of Efficiency of Agriculture Production During 1952-1957

对50年代初农业生产绩效的研究是评述农业合作化运动的关键问题所在。学术界的研究从农业增长和农户收入两个视角展开,结论差异很大。究其原因:一是研究标准的不同,二是研究方法的差异及局限。就研究方法而言,有典型证据与现代计量两大类方法。这两种方法各有千秋,同时都有其局限性。在当代经济史的研究中,要特别注意数据的准确性与真实性;应扬长避短,把典型证据法和现代计量方法结合起来使用。

Researches on the 1950s' agricultural production performance are center to the agriculture cooperation movement evaluation.The research is always carried out from two perspectives,agricultural growth or rural household incomes and expenditure,and leads to divergent conclusions.The key reason lies in the limitations of different research criteria and research methods.The two main research methods,either typical evidence or modern econometrics,have their own relative merits.In contemporary economic history research,special attention should be given to the accuracy and veracity of the data,and the method of typical evidence should be combined with modern econometrics.
