摘要
一个早已淡出学术界视野的假说——早期鸟类经历过四翼阶段。由于近年众多的化石证据以及包括笔者在内许多研究者的探索，不但得到证实而且被发展。揭示鸟类后肢羽毛退化和鳞片出现的演化历程，有助于促进人们对鸟类皮肤结构发育机制的理解。
A long-forgotten hypothesis has been recently reexamined and even further developed due to a growing number of non-avian and avian dinosaur fossils discovery in China.These discoveries demonstrate the presence of a four-winged stage in dinosaurian evolution,which played a key role in the origin of avian flight.
