摘要
探讨了多元智能理论中的七种智能在大学英语视听说教学中的具体应用。传统的视听说教学是以培养学生的听、说、读、写等语言知识能力为目的,而结合了多元智能理论的视听说教学强调的是以学生为中心、以培养语言应用能力为目的的课堂教学。通过开发和培养学生在视听说教学过程中的各种智能,学生能更有效地学好英语。
This article explores the application of the seven types of intelligences in the Multiple Intelligence Theory in audio-visual course of college English teaching. The goal of the traditional audio-visual teaching is foster students' lin- guistic knowledge in listening, speaking, reading and writing, etc; while the teaching combined with the Multiple Intelli- gence Theory emphasizes the student-centered classroom and fostering students' practical application of language. By de- veloping and fostering students' various intelligences in the course of audio-visual teaching, students can learn English more effectively.
