The goal of English teaching in the higher vocational college is to cultivate the students＇ abilities of applying the language. Instructors ought to be based on the actual situation of the students, design the effective tasks which are to cultivate the students＇ ability of using the language to have a positive effect on English learning to ensure the effectiveness of task-based teaching.
