当代英国诗歌的研究在多元化背景下,呈现出民主、多元、分散、开放的发展走向,表现出更为宽泛和更加宽容的态度。根据当代英国诗歌的特征以及国外对英国诗歌的研究状况,今后英国诗歌研究应从多元文化背景、对诗歌传统的传承与嬗变、女诗人、诗歌语言多样化等方面进行研究。
