钟嵘《诗品》王粲条疏证

An Annotation of the Item WANG Can in the Work <Critique of Poetry> by ZHONG Rong

《诗品》评王粲诗作"其源出于李陵",主要表现在两个方面:一是相似的人生遭遇;二是诗歌凄怆哀怨的风格。王粲五言诗文辞秀美,风格凄怆,这与其生活境况有着密切的联系,而"质羸"之说可待商榷。钟嵘还指出与曹、刘诗歌相比,王粲之诗属于另一种创作风貌。从整体上看,钟嵘的评价基本符合诗人的创作事实。

In his work <Critique of Poetry> the author commented WANG Can's poems saying 'they originated from General LI Ling',which mainly expresses in two aspects : One is the similar life experience;the other is the gloomy and sad style of the poetry.The words of his five-character poem are beautiful and the style is quite gloomy and sad,which is closely concerned with his life conditions,but the says of his 'weak body' are still to be discussed.Mr.ZHONG Rong,a poem reviewer,still pointed out that comparing with the poems by CAO Cao and LIU Zhen,Wang's poems belong to another writing style.Judge from the whole,ZHONG Rong's evaluation basically accords the poet's creation.
