The legend about the customs of Baima Tibetan in Longnan is their ＂orally inherited history＂, is an artistic reflection on the ethnic memory and identity, a showcase for the moral consciousness and folkways of Baima Tibetan in Longnan. These rich legend stories can get a glimpse of its distinct nation character, unique folkways, and history footsteps on the national development and evolution.
