《铡美案》与《美狄亚》中的负心汉

Heartless Man Image in Chen Shimei and Medea

《铡美案》和《美狄亚》两部中外戏剧作品分别塑造了较为典型的两个负心汉形象。他们与原配妻子的关系都属于"恩大于感情",后来在面对权力诱惑时,都做出了男权社会里具有普遍性的选择--抛弃旧爱,迎娶新欢。他们的差异性主要是出身不同,抛妻弃子的具体行为以及最后的结局不同,主要原因是中西方文化语境里不同的婚姻伦理观念。

Medea and Qin Xianglian created two typical images of ＂heartless man＂ between Chinese and Western culture. The similarity was shown in that they both bore the ＂kindness more than love＂ mental burden from their formal wives. In the face of the new era of temptations and public environment, they made the same choice in the patriarchal society. Their differences are in the different status and ex-wife feelings. They had different specific behaviors and final outcomes of wives and children. They had so many different points was mainly because of the different marriage ethic.
