The steady development and expansion of overseas Chinese businesses has appealed to the world universally.Southeast Asia is the main residential area of overseas Chinese businesses.Contucianism plays a major role in the successful management of Chinese businesses.Under the influence of Western values,the Western idea and mode of management have melted into Chinese businesses.The outbreak of financial crisis in Asia has thrown light upon the problems existing in overseas Chinese businesses.In order to survive and thrive in the fierce competition,Chinese businesses in Southeast Asia should undertake a reform on the present management.
