Wu Xiqi's Theoretic View and Writings of the Lv Fu

吴锡麒推崇唐代律赋的成就,在学习唐人的基础上发展了律赋文体的艺术技巧。在理论上和创作实践中,他都注意将个人才学与律赋严格的音韵、文章结构相融合,从而形成了以工整为代表性的美学特征。这奠定了他在清代律赋史上的地位,同时也是他对于律赋文体发展作出的贡献。

Wu Xiqi valued the accomplishment of the Lv Fu in Tang Dynasty. On the basis of learning from the Tang predecessors, he also further developed the artistic skills of this literary style by himself. He intentionally combined personal talent with the strict rhyme and structure of the Fu both in theory and practice, and formed a representative ＂balancing aesthetics＂. This new aesthetics he created established his place in the history of Fu in Qing Dynasty. Meanwhile, it also became his contribution to the development of the literary type of Fu.
