Based on analyzing the field experiences , the paper proposes the improved scheme against the universal couplings for mining truck.The field tests show that the improvement is reasonable .The improved universal coupling have a series of performance , such as compact structure, light body, large torque, high accuracy, high insistence against impact , long service life, and convenient mainte-nance.
