《诗经》作为中国第一部诗歌总集,具有不朽的艺术价值。其中不少诗篇中出现各种纷繁复杂的花草果木("香草")意象,也出现了不少"美人"形象。《诗经》中或以这些花草直接比喻美人,或通过花草环境描写间接烘托美人形象,或通过花草传达男女之间的爱情,塑造了许多美人形象,也为我们留下许多甜美的爱情故事。这种"香草"与"美人"两种意象的和谐运用产生了不朽的艺术效果。

The Book of Songs as China’s first collection of poems,has a monumental artistic value.Various complicated flowers and trees（Vanilla） images appear in the Psalms,and they have made many Beauty images.In The Book of Songs,these flowers metaphor beauty directly,or through the description of environment give an image of beauty,or through flowers convey the love between men and women,what created many beautiful images,and left us with a lot of sweet love story.The two kinds of imagery（Vanilla and Beauty）’s harmonious use have made a monumental artistic effect.
