The fantasy film is the genre film to describe the secondary world in accordance with witchcraft and magic thinking. It challenges the point of view that ＂movie reproduces the material reality＂, and constructs a mimesis world even more real than the real. Secondary world is the fictional parallel time and space independent of the real world. It is the cornerstone of the establishment of the fantasy film. Witchcraft and magic thinking not only shape the genre characteristics, but also construct the poetic character of the fantasy film.
