摘要
尼泊尔是一个多民族、多语言和多文化的国家。但是在全球化影响下的今天,英语和尼泊尔语对于尼泊尔国内其他地区的母语教育冲击巨大,并使得多种少数族群语言处于濒临灭绝的边缘。为此,2007年尼泊尔政府颁布了"基于多语教育的母语教育政策"(MT-MLE),旨在保护各语言的多样性,促进文化共存。然而在政策实施中,却出现了诸多问题,悖于政策预期。
Nepal is the influence of the a state which is multi-ethnic, multilingual and multi-cultural. Under globalization nowadays,English and Nepali have been in the leading position which lead to an extinction of various ethnic minority languages. Therefore ,in 2007,the MT-MLE poficy (Mother-Tongue based on Multi-Lingual Education) was published by the Nepal government in order to reserve the diversity of multi-languages and promote cultural coexistence. Yet much trouble has occurred during the implementation of MT-MLE,which is not ecpected for the policy maker. It is a challenge to Nepal that how to confront the language dilemma.
