关于编辑和印发《英汉排序论词汇》

On Editing and Printing《English-Chinese Terms of Scheduling Theory》

编辑英汉对照的排序论词汇,是中国运筹学会排序分会(专业委员会)1990年成立以来一直在提倡和推进的工作。经过排序分会多次讨论和反复修改,列出不止一种排序论中文用词,目的是做比较,使用那些比较合适的用词,不再使用那些不合适的中文译名;排序论术语逐步统一,是学科成熟的标志,也是学术交流的需要。科学用词,不但需要两国文字(中文和英文)的扎实基础,更需要对于其在排序论学术内涵和外延上的准确理解,还要考虑到使用的习惯和方便,同时需要不断地改进和修改,从而为以后编辑出版《排序论辞典》做准备。

Since its establishment in 1990, Scheduling Society （Committee） of Operations Research Society of China has been advocating and promoting the work, which is editing English-Chinese Terms of Scheduling Theory. After numerous discussions and revisions, more than one kind of Chinese words in Scheduling Theory are listed to compare them in order to use the more appropriate one and no longer to use unsuitable others. The terminology of scheduling theory is gradually unified. This is a sign of a mature discipline, and is also the need for academic exchanges. In order to do scientific wording, not only need foundations of two （Chinese and English） texts, need for accurate understanding of the intension and extension of academic meaning, need to consider usage＇s habits and conveniences, but also need to continue to improve and revise them. Then, we shall prepare for editing and publishing 《Dctionary of Scheduling Theory》 later.
