Taking the mountainous highway engineering as an example, the article introduces the retaining wall stability checking and emphasi- zing cheek methods, and describes reinforcement measures of improving anti-clashing stability, improving anti-sliding stability, improving founda- tion bearing capacity and reducing foundation stress, with a view to improve the highway stability.
