Taking Linfen-Jixian expressway as the example, the paper indicates the gabion protection design and technical requirements for the stone cut of expressways, explores its construction methods and craft, emphasizes the construction precautions, and proves by the practice that the pollution caused by some protection on the construction site, including mixed spraying, should be avoided and the gabion has smooth and attrac- tive slope after the construction, so it is meaningful for its energy-saving and environment protection.
