摘要
文化认同与社会控制是中国民间信仰功能的重要体现,许真君信仰始于晋,历经南北朝、唐宋至明清时期,许真君信仰不是消沉而是呈现高涨,俨然成为全国性的民间信仰神灵。许真君信仰历千百年而兴盛,究其原委主要是广大民众对许真君文化认同的因素,在此文化认同的背景下潜移默化地转向为地方社会控制的影响力,教化百姓,慰藉民心,促进地方经济,稳定地方社会。
The important manifestation of the function of Chinese folk religion lies in cultural identity and so- cial control. Deriving from the Jin Dynasty, and passing through the Northern and Southern Dynasties, the Song Dy- nasty to the Qing Dynasty, the faith in Xu Zhenjun did' t languish but flourished, which evitablely became a national god in folk belief. The thousands of years' bloom of the the culture of Zhenjun, upon which the faith in Zhenjun through educating people, comforting people, promoting faith in Xu Zhenjun attributes to the public' s recognition of is subtly endowed with the power to control the local society local economy and stabling local society.
