原生性民族国家目前已进入民族国家发展时期,而众多发展中国家由于建立民族国家的历史较为短暂,而且又是在复杂的环境下进行民族国家构建的,其民族国家的制度框架比较脆弱。要筑牢民族国家制度框架的根基,维护多民族国家的统一和稳定,必然要通过民族国家建设来实现。而政治整合和政治统一、民族认同和国家认同整合、国族整合与国族建设及民主建设和宪政建设,就构成了民族国家建设的多维向度,它们是民族国家制度得以存续和有效运作的最有力支撑。
