Cloning and sequencing of the Bacillus anthracis edema factor gene

采用聚合酶链反应 (PCR)从炭疽芽孢杆菌减毒株YB1中扩增其水肿因子 (EF)的编码区基因 ,将其克隆至pGEM T载体中 ,并分步测定其序列。序列测定表明 ,该基因长 2 30 1bp ,编码 76 7个氨基酸 。

The gene encoding edema gene (EF) of Bacillus anthracis was amplified from the attenuated strain YB1 by PCR, then cloned into pGEM?T vector and sequenced by step. The gene was 2301 bp long and encoding 767 amino acids, and it was the same as published EF gene of the standard Sterne strain.
