英语专业教师课堂中介作用实证研究

摘要 中介理论是近年来教育心理学和社会互动学的核心理论,也是目前二语习得研究领域中的一个重要研究课题。研究结果显示,尽管我国英语专业教师普遍具有课堂中介意识,然而在具体教学过程中,教师实施中介作用的频度却明显不高。教师中介行为和中介意识之间存在一定的差距。因此,英语专业教师应通过积极开展反思教学、与学生签订"学习合约"、实施策略训练、设计多元灵活的小组学习任务等途径充分发挥其在课堂教学中的中介作用。 Currently, the theory of mediation is one of the core theories of educational psychology and social interactionism. It also has attracted much attention in the field of second language acquisition. This empirical study leads to the finding that in spite of their awareness of the teacher's role as a mediator in the EFL classroom, tertiary teachers of English majors fail to implement mediation in their teaching as frequently as expected. There obviously exists a gap between the degree of teachers~ awareness of mediation and that of mediation occurring in the classroom. Ac- cordingly, it is suggested that tertiary teachers of English majors should learn to teach reflectively, sign " learning contracts" with their students, integrate learning strategy training into teaching and design group work of different sorts so that they might play a better role as a mediator in the EFL classroom.
